Bara was found guilty of murder on a single count by the court.
Justice Patricia Oduniyi, who delivered the verdict, stated that the prosecution had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Bara was guilty of the offence.

The offence, according to Justice Oduniyi, was against the Criminal Code of Ogun.
During the trial, the state prosecuting counsel, Miss T.O Adeyemi, a Senior State Counsel, stated that the prisoner committed the crime on May 1, 2018, at 6 p.m., at Afodan Farm Settlement, Ijoun, in the Aiyetoro region of Ogun.
The dead was on his farm, according to Adeyemi, when Bara approached him and accused him of having an affair with one of his wives.
“Bara, who has three wives, pulled out a gun and shot Oke in the head while he was attempting to explain that he had no affair with any of Bara’s wives,” she added.
According to the attorney, Oke died as a result of a gunshot to the head.
