Davido took to his Instagram story after Tems’s appreciation post to congratulate her on her prestigious achievement.
He did, however, mention that anyone (both her male and female counterparts) who paved the way for her in the Nigerian music industry can serve as inspiration for the music diva.
Tems won two awards at the recently concluded 2022 BET Awards.
On Sunday night, the songstress was named Best International Act at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Tems also won Best Collaboration for his work on Wizkid’s “Essence” featuring Justin Bieber.
