According to rumors, the founder of Hariot Promotions died on Thursday.
Bolaji Basia, an entertainment promoter, announced the death in a post on his social media account.
Basia, known as Fuji music artist K1 De Ultimate’s best friend, paid tribute to the deceased by writing, “Rest well paddy my Dotun Olaribigbe (Lobito).”

Olaribigbe was a very active player in numerous parts of the social scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Sir Shina Peters, a juju musician, mentioned him on his album Ace, released in 1989.
He died four days before his birthday July 11.
Olaribigbe ran for Surulere Local Government Chair on the All Progressives Congress ticket in 2017. (APC).
On behalf of the Liberation Movement Party, he ran in the 2019 senate election to represent Lagos Central in the National Assembly.
Olaribigbe was the CEO of Bulls’ Eye Security Solutions Ltd. till his death.
