Mr. Zoe Solomon Tamunotonye, a suspended lecturer at Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is now a commercial bus conductor after the college neglected to pay him for the previous six months.
Tamunotonye was seen encouraging passengers to board a commercial bus along Ikwerre Road in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, in a video that went popular on social media.
Following a panel allegation that he sexually harassed a female student of the college and had her detained at the Sani Abacha Road Police Station in Port Harcourt, the instructor was suspended by the Polytechnic’s management.

He was reported to have turned around and accused the female student of misappropriating the N250,000 he gave her for her personnel company and retaining his office key and other items.
The student was eventually released by the Sani Abacha Road Police Station after the intervention of the Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday, who realized after hearing to the parties involved that the lecture’s charge was without merit.
Remember that Tamunotonye was found responsible in the charge of misconduct and harassment of the female student by the Polytechnic in March 2022.
The declaration, issued by Registrar Chris Woke, gave him until May 31, 2022 to write an apology letter to the institution and to promise to be of good behavior in writing.
The speaker, on the other hand, has stated that he will not apologize because, in his opinion, he committed no offense worthy of an apology.
