‘Made In Lagos’ by Wizkid receives yet another U.S certification

The album (his fourth studio album), which was published on October 30, 2020, has sold 500 thousand units in the United States.

The album has received 322 million streams on Apple Music, 229 million streams on Spotify, and 227 million streaming on YouTube since its debut.

It also logged more than 140 million streams on Audiomack, 40 million streams on Boomplay, and 20 million streams on Pandora, for a total of more than 1 billion streams on Digital Service Providers (DSPs).

After selling more than 60,000 pieces in the first few months of 2022, “Made In Lagos” received a Silver certification in the U.K. It has now earned a Gold certification in the U.S. after selling 500,000 units.

Numerous milestones have been broken by the album, including the first African album to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the longest-charting African album ever with a record-breaking 72 weeks on the charts.
