The Big Brother Naija reality star and actress warned that because celebrities will be exploited as “scapegoats,” the advise to stay away from politics will no longer be effective.
She claimed that celebrities have avoided politics and that “the situation has been getting worse.”
Additionally, Erica Nlewedim stated that she hasn’t decided personally who would be the ideal choice for the position because she’s unsure of which of the top three contenders for president can genuinely make a difference.
In his words she stated ;
“The advice to celebrities is to stay away from politics cos we’re the ones who will be used as scapegoats but we’ve been staying away and the situation has been getting worse so I’m no longer staying away. Still making up my mind on who’s the best for the job!
We have one person we the youths don’t want! And then we have the other two, but what truly makes one better than the other? Who’s actually going to make a difference?.”
