The comedic actor revealed that while studying law at the university, he eventually lost interest because comedy was more his field of interest and not law, which didn’t pay well but comedy bring him more sucess.
While describing the difficulties he encountered as a corps member to secure a placement at his place of primary assignment (PPA), MC Lively stated to Chude Jideonwo in an interview that he had been offered N5,000 monthly as a Corper.
“I love law so much, and I’m very good at it,” he declared. However, there is a huge conflict between what is learned in school and what one experiences in daily life.
“How is it that after spending so much money on law school, I’m offered N5,000 per month right out of law school? I visited three or four different chambers before even getting that one. Now consider what I would experience if I wanted to obtain a real job.
“It was such a huge problem when I was in law school, telling people that I wanted to be a comedian. People would always ask why I spent 5 years, including law school, just to end up as a comedian.
“Most times, when you want to do something, it’s always easier when there’s someone who has done that same thing. And I’m usually like Falz the Bahd Guy also he studied Law too. I just want to say, Thank you, boss; that’s one of my greatest inspirations and mentors.”
