People close to the distraught husband, Muyiwa Sikiru, allegedly hinted that his wife had been housing a man in their marital home in Akure South Local Government’s Oke-Aro Area.
Sikiru, a native of Osun State, left for three months before coming home on July 4th to discover another man living there with his wife and their three-year-old son.
According to sources, Sikiru moved his family to Akure before moving to another state in search of work.
One of the sources stated that the man arrived in Akure on Saturday and made a stop at his friend’s residence before returning home to meet his family.
Furious over his wife’s infidelity, the husband stormed into their cramped apartment when he got there, dragged her outside, and tied her to the well next to the house.
As other neighbors helped carry their child, the man reportedly chained his estranged wife’s wrists and tied her to the pole of a well in front of the house.
It was discovered that the lover boy, who had just finished taking a bath in the bathroom before the man arrived, left through the window after hearing the man’s voice.
It was reported that a group of women later drove the couple to the neighborhood police station.
