Singer Brymo retracts anti-Igbo statements under pressure – VIDEO

The musician caused a commotion when he launched a diatribe against Igbos on Twitter due to their political allegiance and differences.

After that, a Change.org petition was started calling for the immediate revocation of his AFRIMMA appointment.

Brymo chose to apologize during an Instagram live session after feeling the pressure and anger from Nigerians.

The “Oleku” Crooner claimed that the argument began when he suggested that award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie shouldn’t have accepted a traditional Igbo chieftaincy title while disregarding a national honour, given how the region is pushing for the Presidency.

The musician claimed that when requested to apologize to the people of the southeast, he replied, “F**k The Ndi Igbo.”
