The list of the wealthiest billionaires in Africa in 2023 has been published by Forbes.
Aliko Dangote, Abdul Samad Rabiu, and Mike Adenuga are three Nigerians that made the list.
Aliko Dangote is still the richest black person in the world, with a net worth of $13.6 billion.
With a fortune of $7.4 billion, Abdul Samad Rabiu, was placed second in Nigeria.
Mike Adenuga, Chairman of Globacom , who currently has a wealth worth $5.7 billion become Nigeria’s third-richest person.
Only seven of the 54 countries in Africa, according to Forbes, are home to billionaires on the list of global billionaires.
Egypt has six billionaires, South Africa has five, Nigeria has three, Morocco has two, Zimbabwe has one, Algeria has one, and Tanzania has one.
Only Abdul Samad Rabiu of BUA, one of the three Nigerians on this year’s Forbes list, witnessed an improvement in his financial situation compared to last year.
