Chidi Mokeme Clarifies Why He Has Been Away From The Movie Industry.

The seasoned actor has genuinely been away from the movie industry, and in general, his battle with an incurable illness came to light.

Chidi Mokeme had been absent from the movie industry for a while until making a recent appearance in the movie “Shanty Town,” in which he portrayed the part of Scar.

Bell’s palsy is an untreatable illness that Chidi Mokeme disclosed he was facing in an interview with Channels Television.

Veteran Nollywood performer Chidi Mokeme has clarified why he has been away from the movie industry.

He claimed that because the virus only affected one side of his face and he was unable to perform in public.

Bell’s palsy is a disorder that causes the muscles on one side of the face to suddenly weaken. The weakness often subsides over a few weeks and is only temporary. The weakening makes the lower portion of the face look sagging. One-sided smiles cause the affected eye to resist closing.
