A fight over N1,000 is said to have resulted in Tunde’s death, A 27 years old man killed by his brother called Ibrahim dauda.
The sad tragedy occurred at their home on Amusa Street, off Community Road, in the Obadore neighbourhood of Igando, Lagos State.
According to Punch, Ibrahim and Tunde got into a heated dispute in their home over N1000
The 27-year-old was knocked out while falling due to the force of the attack.
When the argument turned into a fight, Ibrahim raced outside to fetch an iron rod, which he then used to strike his brother in the forehead.
According to an eyewitness, people rushed Tunde to the Igando General Hospital in an effort to save him, but he was declared dead by the doctor.
After being informed, Igando Division-affiliated police officers detained Ibrahim right away.
On this development, the state Police command has not yet made any comments.
“The incident happened on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Both of them were fighting over N1, 000 and in the process, one of the brothers (Ibrahim) used an iron rod to hit his brother (Tunde) on his forehead. People quickly rushed him to the general hospital in Igando but he was confirmed dead. His corpse was evacuated and taken to the Mainland General Hospital, Yaba, for autopsy.”
