On March 14, 2023, at Abepotia close to Nkawkaw, Mudor allegedly used a machete to behead his 65-year-old wife, Madam Grace.
The lady allegedly threatened divorce because she was tired of caring for her blind husband.
The defendant, who lost his sight five years ago, said his 28-year-old wife shared in his blessings and threatened to leave him when things got difficult, which is why he killed her.
The suspect allegedly made such threats, albeit they were reportedly taken lightly due to his health, according to co-tenants, who said the murder was premeditated.
At the Nkawkaw Magistrate Court, Mudor confessed to killing his wife because she wanted to get a divorce and begged for forgiveness before His Worship Isaac Agyei
Samuel Aliffo, the deceased’s brother, expressed outrage at the suspect’s actions and prayed that justice would be served.
On April 5, 2023, Mudor is anticipated to appear before the court.
