Okoro reveals that Uche Ogbuagu of the Labour Party, Amadi’s closest competitor, received 18, 296 votes to Amadi’s 21, 372 total votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission made the announcement.
At the federal constituency’s collation center, which is located at Nworuibi in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Prof. Boniface Okoro, the returning officer for that district, announced the votes received by each candidate, stating that the APC candidate had received the most of them.
Henry Nwawuba, the incumbent and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, received 7,202 votes; Usmond Ukanacho, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, received 6,681 votes; Chinonso Uba, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, received 4,100 votes; and Godstime Chukwunuikem, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, received 246 votes.

The winner of the supplementary election held on Saturday in Imo State’s Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency was Akarachi Amadi, 29 years old.
The moment the 29-year-old was declared the election’s victor, there was hysterical celebration in the region.
