At various points, a pick-up van and a tricycle both struck and halted Mack’s truck from behind.
Three victims died instantly as a result of the tragedy, while three others were injured.
The crashes took place on Saturday night and early on Sunday morning, according to the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) Corps.
The Mack truck travelling toward Abeokuta had its propeller taken off while it was in motion, rendering it immobile according to the TRACE spokesman Babatunde Akinbiyi.
The truck with the number T-7827LA vehicle was afterwards removed from the road by inserting blocked off with caution tape and traffic cones.
But on Saturday night, a tricycle with the license plate JGB724WB struck the truck.
According to the TRACE spokesman, the rider passed away during the incident and the other passengers were hurt.
Akinbiyi stated that on Sunday morning, a Nissan Pick-Up van with the license plate GEN256XA also collided with the truck, killing the driver and one of the passengers.
According to reports, three people died in two car accidents that occurred at the same location close to Ifo Market on the Abeokuta-Sango route in Ogun State.
He explained that while the injured were being treated at the General Hospital, Ifo, the bodies of the deceased had been transferred there.
