On Friday, Charly Boy received a range of comments after pictures of him on a wheelchair appeared on social media. Many people expressed concern for his health because he recently overcame cancer.
However, Charly Boy claimed in a tweet on Saturday that he was well and that he had asked airport staff to help him around since he was exhausted from walking.
Charles Oputa, better known by his stage name Charly Boy, is a Nigerian singer and social commentator who recently went viral for appearing in a wheelchair at an airport.
He stated;
“I apologize if I made anybody worry about me.
“No be say anything dey do me. I just lazy/tired as I dey waka upandown for airport. So I tell officials make dem just dey push me around.
“I no dey form Chief Justice oooo and I no disguise myself to go see Tinubu for London sha.”
