Nigerian Woman was sent to Kirikiri Prison, For Assaulting a Police Officer.

On May 16, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin made this information public.

Hundeyin tweeted the following after posting a picture of a woman grabbing a police officer by the uniform.

A woman who attacked a police officer has been charged in court and is being held without bail in Kirikiri jail, an incident which occurred in the Ogombo neighbourhood of Ajah, Lagos state.

This comes after a video of Afro beats musician Seun Kuti assaulting a police officer on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos went viral over the weekend.
