The late Lawal’s older brother, Auwal, told City & Crime that his brother, a Bureau de Change (BDC) agent, was last seen on Thursday night in his office, which was close to the home where he shared a room with other tenants.
He further stated ;
“They lived on the second floor of a three-storey apartment at Agric Quarters. His vehicle was in the compound. Their apartment was locked from within. So, after several calls to their mobile phones were not answered, I suggested, while on my way coming from Kano, that the door be forced open on Saturday.”
City & Crime also discovered that the incident was reported to the Wuse Zone 3 Police Division and that their corpses were brought to the Wuse General Hospital after a preliminary inquiry and buried the following day.

Meanwhile, it was discovered that among the exhibits removed by detectives from their room, along with their mobile phones, were two empty take-out food containers and empty soft drink cans.
SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, has not yet responded to a communication regarding the event.
