A Nigerian guy was seriously hurt as a result of a travel agent’s scam.
The man paid a travel agent N15 million to get him a job and a visa to Canada, but things didn’t work out the way he had hoped.
The individual was promised a visa to Canada for himself and his family after paying an initial sum of N5 million.

After a few months, all he received was a letter of job assignment, which the agent claimed would allow him to work in Canada.
The travel agent suddenly vanished without a trace. Unsure of what to do, the man presented the job offer letter to another agent.
The new agent applied for the man’s Canadian visa using the job offer letter, but the embassy assessment revealed that the job was a fraud.
The man’s application for a visa was rejected, and he was also barred from visiting Canada for five years.
The individual accidentally obtained a false employment offer letter from the travel agent, which led to the ban.
