In addition to threats and repression from the school’s officials, the students claimed that the dean had engaged in sexual harassment with most of them.
They carried signs reading, “Enough of Law school list manipulation.” For our sanity, Prof. Ndifon must leave. Law students are chanting, “Enough is enough,” and Prof. Ndifon should stop grabbing us. Law students are not in a brothel.
The school’s vice-chancellor, professor Ivara Esu, suspended professor Cyril Ndifon in 2015 after discovering that he had sexually assaulted a 400-level student who was 20 years old.
The professor was suspended after the victim’s mother, Irene Akpan, claimed in a letter to the university that the professor had raped her daughter on August 29, 2015, between 3 and 5 p.m., in his private office on the top floor of the faculty building.
He was, however, admitted once more to the facility in December 2022.
Now here is other allegations against him by lots of students in the institute.
