Their terrible colleague Mohbad’s experience served as inspiration for this course of action.
Busola Oke, the Nigerian gospel singer known as Eleyele, has accused her music marketer, Gbenga Adewusi alias Bayowa Films, in public of withholding her music profits as revenge for her refusal of his advances for a romantic relationship.
Eleyele offered her sympathies for the late artist Mohbad during a live session on her TikTok platform. She was moved by this sad occasion to openly discuss the unpleasant experiences she has had in the music business.
The gifted singer-songwriter revealed that after Bayo Films’ betrayal, during which he illegally confiscated her earnings from the numerous hit songs she produced under his management, she was forced to sell her assets and suffered significant financial losses from which she has yet to fully recover.
The resentful singer bemoaned the fact that, but for Bayowa’s ruthless and insatiable desire, she ought to have amassed significant fortune and notoriety by this point.

Busola stressed that Mohbad’s terrible demise and her own career’s near demise were both caused by the pervasive pattern of music executives and professionals taking advantage of and benefiting at the expense of young, ambitious musicians.
She added that the only choice she made not to engage in a sexual relationship or other personal activity was one that she didn’t sacrifice.
