The mother of late Dowen College student, Sylvester Oromoni, has passed away after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Oromoni’s health had been declining since the traumatic loss of her 12-year-old son in 2021.
Sylvester Oromoni’s death had sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice, after allegations of bullying at his school emerged.
The incident had left Mrs. Oromoni grappling with intense sorrow, and despite receiving medical attention and support from loved ones, her health struggles eventually became too great to overcome.
The news of her passing has thrown the family and well-wishers into profound mourning. The Oromoni family is now faced with the anguish of losing both a cherished son and a devoted mother.
