Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has taken to social media to praise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its efforts in improving electricity supply and security in Nigeria.
According to Edochie, many states in the country now enjoy up to 22 hours of electricity daily, thanks to Tinubu’s policies.
Edochie also noted that terrorist attacks have reduced drastically, describing Tinubu as a “master strategist” and a “silent achiever.” His statement has drawn mixed reactions from Nigerians, with some applauding his optimism and others questioning the accuracy of his claims.
It’s worth noting that the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, had previously stated that over 40% of Nigerian electricity consumers now enjoy over 20 hours of regular electricity supply across the nation . This improvement in electricity supply is attributed to the adoption of revolutionary measures by the Ministry of Power.
While some Nigerians have expressed skepticism about Edochie’s claims, others have praised his optimism and enthusiasm for the current administration’s efforts.
As the debate continues, one thing is clear: the issue of electricity supply remains a critical concern for Nigerians, and any efforts to improve it are welcome.
