Arsenal’s 17-year-old midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has made history by breaking a Premier League record previously held by teammate Bukayo Saka.
During the Gunners’ 2-0 win over Leicester City, Nwaneri became the youngest player to complete five or more dribbles and assist a goal in a single match, aged 17 years and 331 days.
Nwaneri has had a breakout season at Arsenal, making 24 appearances for the Gunners in his first full season. His impressive performance has earned him a spot in Mikel Arteta’s plans, and he continues to prove himself as a valuable asset to the team.
Nwaneri’s record-breaking achievement is not his first. Last month, he became the second-youngest Englishman to score in the Champions League, and the second-youngest Arsenal player to score in the Premier League.
With his talent and dedication, Nwaneri is sure to achieve even greater heights in his career.
Arsenal is currently seven points off Premier League leaders Liverpool, but with Nwaneri’s contributions, the Gunners are still in the hunt for the title.
