A former minister at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Mrs. Funke Ashekun, has made disturbing allegations against the church’s General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya.
In an exclusive interview, Ashekun claimed that Olukoya grabbed her, placed his forehead against hers, and hypnotized her in his counseling room.
Ashekun, who spent nearly 20 years in the church and served as a minister, recounted an unsettling incident that allegedly took place when she visited Olukoya’s office to submit a report. She stated that Olukoya pulled her close, placed his forehead against hers, and said, “Look straight into my eyes.”
Ashekun felt something unsettling and hypnotic, but she didn’t suspect anything sinister at the time.
However, after moving to the U.S., Ashekun started receiving messages from several women who shared similar experiences. They told her that every time Olukoya did this, they would lose consciousness. Ashekun realized that she had narrowly escaped becoming one of Olukoya’s victims.
Ashekun also alleged that Olukoya of MFM targeted vulnerable women, including young girls from the youth church, single mothers, and women in financial distress, under the guise of spiritual deliverance.
She claimed that Olukoya would tell them that they had a “snake in their womb” and then assault them during private deliverance sessions
