Both of the Super Eagles’ games, which will take place in Portimao, Portugal, on Friday and Monday respectively, are against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.

Awoniyi and Aina of Nottingham Forest have been replaced by Tyrone Ebuehi and Sadiq Umar, respectively, and Collins of Cardiff City has been replaced by Chidozie Awaziem.

Due to an injury, Awoniyi was unable to play in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace, and Aina missed both that match and the 1-1 draw with Brentford on October 1 due to injury.

Collins played the whole 90 minutes on Saturday as Cardiff drew 1-1 with Watford. Collins has made nine appearances in the Championship this season after returning from a long-term injury.

The friendly was planned, according to the Nigerian Football Federation, as practice matches for the Super Eagles before the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
