Boko Haram Terrorists Attack Nigerian Army Base In Borno, Kill Several Soldiers, Destroy Gun Truck, Others
A tragic incident has occurred in Borno State, where Boko Haram terrorists launched a devastating attack on a Nigerian Army base, resulting in the loss of several soldiers.
The terrorists also destroyed a gun truck and other equipment during the assault.
According to reports, the attack took place in the Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, confirmed the incident, stating that five soldiers were killed, ten were wounded, and four are missing in action.
The troops, however, successfully eliminated several terrorists during the clash.
In a related development, the Nigerian Army has made significant progress in combating terrorism in the region. Recently, troops neutralized a notorious Boko Haram commander, Abu Rijab, and recovered arms in Borno.
Additionally, eight terrorists, along with their families, surrendered to the Nigerian Army in Gwoza Local Government Area.
The Nigerian Army remains committed to ending terrorism, insurgency, and insecurity challenges in Nigeria.
The Chief of Army Staff has commended the troops for their relentless efforts and dedication in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
