AG Vibez, Afrobeat talent set for a debut EP release

 

At a very young age, AG Vibez developed a love for music after watching his father appreciate it.

 

This prompted AG Vibez to pursue music as a career. The rhythms and melodies emanating from the vocals of the musical icons, like King of Afrobeats Fela, Angélique Kidjo, and others, completely captivated me.

 

 

“Genesix” the Project The Ep is the impetus for AG Vibez’s debut album, a rapidly developing talent. By taking this direction to fulfil his desire to share his art with the world, he is able to offer the most thrilling and soul-stirring endeavour. This enormous body of work is the result of his interest, melodies, stories, and inspiration.

 

 

In his statements before the project’s release, he stated, “The EP Genesix, Consists of 7 Tracks and two additional remastered tunes. It is expected to release on April 3, 2023.

 

 

 

 

 

With the rise of young artists that have boosted the melodic Afrobeat sound across the global stage, the contemporary music market in Africa is quickly expanding.

 

It’s no wonder that Nigeria is gifted with creative brains when some of the new faces, like Rema DML, Fireboy, Omah Lay, Tems, Ayra starr, follow similar paths to Wizkid, Davido, Burnaboy and Tiwa savage to carve their spaces in the international music industry.

 

The independent artist and Afrobeat artist “AG Vibez” says that many Nigerian musicians inspire him, adding that he admires about them is how they approach their musical compositions. “I mean there’s a lot to likes from the musicians I consider amazing,” he continues.
