In Anambra, Nigeria, a 37-year-old man, Anthony Kosisochukwu Okafor, has been arrested for allegedly killing his older brother, Emmanuel Okafor, 45, over a heated argument about foodstuff.
According to the police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the suspect confessed to engaging in a physical altercation with his brother, which escalated into a fatal confrontation.
Kosisochukwu allegedly used a stick to pierce his brother’s chest, leading to his untimely death.
The police have transferred the case to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Awka, and the suspect will be charged to court upon conclusion of the investigation.
