The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, Samson Oghenebreme, for being in possession of human organs suspected to be intended for ritual purposes.
The suspect was apprehended on April 25, 2025, following credible intelligence received from concerned members of the public who reported his suspicious movements.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was allegedly transporting the human organs from Edo State to deliver them to a native doctor for a suspected money ritual. The recovered organs have since been deposited at the General Hospital in Epe for proper preservation and forensic analysis.
The case has been transferred to the Edo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution, as the origin of the crime fell under their jurisdiction.
