Isaac Fayose Claims He Can Generate ₦2 Billion in 6 Months as Lagos Governor
Political commentator and businessman Isaac Fayose has sparked conversation following his bold claim during a recent appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast.
Fayose confidently stated that if given the chance to govern Lagos State, he could generate a whopping ₦2 billion within just six months — and he’s got a plan to back it up.
Speaking passionately, Fayose criticized the current state of affairs in Lagos, particularly the missed opportunities in the entertainment and tech sectors.
“If I’m Lagos State Governor, I can generate two billion in six months. And if you ask me how, I will tell you,” he said.

Fayose outlined a visionary plan that includes building a music and artist city between Ikate and Ilashe — accessible only by boat. This exclusive entertainment hub would celebrate Nigerian artists and attract global giants like Google and Netflix, potentially transforming the area into a cultural and economic goldmine.
He emphasized the potential of converting so-called “Yahoo boys” into tech entrepreneurs through education and infrastructure, claiming it’s a simple switch with the right government support.
“From Yahoo to tech — yes now, come on! There’s no money. You go to the bank, they’ll ask you to bring your mama’s DNA. If you don’t have collateral, you can’t get money. Yet we are sitting on trillions while the people remain poor,” Fayose lamented.
