Eric Chelle Asks For $130,000 Per Month and List Out 19 Requirements to Stay with the Super Eagles
In contrast to the commonly circulated $100,000 amount, Shina Oludare of FlashScore claims that the $130,000 is intended to compensate his complete technical crew as well as his personal assistant.
According to reports, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is looking for a new deal that would pay him up to $130,000 a month.
The Nigeria Football Federation, or NFF, presently pays Chelle about $50,000 each month.
However, the Malian has since switched agents and was most recently connected to the Marseille position.
According to reports, the other requirements include: a private vehicle (SUV) with a driver and security; a home in a secure area with a constant power supply (electricity) for 24 hours a day; a furnished office with a projector for analysis; internet access; airline tickets for the wife and two children (Eric and wife in business class, children in economy); GPS; and the provision of appropriate equipment based on the coach’s needs.
According to reports, Chelle also wants the freedom to choose when it comes to international friendly games, camping trips, the start of youth development initiatives, and the ability to travel overseas to observe, keep an eye on, and interact with national team players.
In order to find possible players who could join the senior national team, U23, U20, and U17, he also wants to make provisions for people to travel and watch the local league.
Other requirements include: No meddling in player calls or team selection.
“The NFF has to issue a working contract for my staff, salary needs to be paid on or before 30th of every month, bonus and allowance as per federation structure, request to include my PA in the bonus and allowance structure, proposed salary of $130,000.00 (One hundred and thirty thousand dollars) monthly.
“The amount includes all technical staffs and PA and monthly meeting with all the national team coaches.”
