Update: Popular Rapper Ice Prince Released on Bail and trail adjourned.
Ice Prince was reportedly released from the Nigerian detention facility in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Thursday, according to his lawyer, Folarin Dalmeida.

The ‘Oleku’ crooner was released on Thursday after the court certified that he has met the bail conditions.
He Stated:
“His bail conditions have been met, and he was released yesterday.”
At the magistrate court located in the Ajah district of Lagos, the rapper’s trial was scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
However, the prosecution’s attorney claimed that his witnesses did not appear, therefore the judge continued the case until October 24.
He had previously been granted bail by the court in the amount of N500,000, with two sureties being required.
The 35-year-old is being tried on three counts that include assault, preventing a police officer from performing his or her official duties, and kidnapping.
According to police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, the rapper was arrested over operating a vehicle without license plates which is against the law.
