A man warns Nigerians and explains how to spot fake N1000 notes that criminals are using as payment (Video)
Nigerians have been cautioned to be vigilant since counterfeit N1000 notes are being distributed by criminals, according to a Nigerian man.
In a video posted online, the guy said that the money was transferred to his wife, who owns a POS company, prompting him to decide to raise awareness so that Nigerians wouldn’t become victims.
He described how Nigerians could tell a genuine note from a fake one., The Nigerian Man emphasized that the fake notes lacked the gold seal on the note.
It seems that some criminally minded individuals have produced fake notes and are currently disseminating them.
Remember that on December 15, the Nigerian Government introduced the newly designed N1000 notes.
