Halima Abubakar desert from her acting career due to serious illness

Although Halima really loves acting, the statement also claimed that “she is so downcast.”

It expressed appreciation for the actress’s supporters as well as for her fans.

“Halima Abubakar quits acting. We are so grateful for all the prayers, God bless you all. We love you all. Thank you for your support. She is so downcast. She really did love acting, Thank you,” The statement reads.

“Rest and continue healing. We all love you. my sweet sis…We are waiting for you diva.”

However, the nature of the illness the actress is battling was not made clear in the statement.

Since beginning her acting career in 2001, Halima has made a name for herself in Nollywood.

The 37-year-old actor has appeared in hundreds of Nollywood productions, such as “Slip of Fate,” “Area Mama,” “Tears of a Child,” “Men in Love,”  “White Hunter.”
