Male student reportedly Arranges for his Fellow student to be Kidnapped and Perhaps killed in Imo.
Oluchukwu Chukwuma, also known as Romeo, a 27-year-old course representative at the Ezeala College of Nursing Science in Okwudo in the Imo State local government of Njaba, was detained by police after it was claimed that he plotted to have his classmate Ikechukwu Ezeala kidnapped and perhaps killed.
According to Okoye, the victim was turned over to Charles Chibueze Nnaji and the aforementioned Izuchukwu Onyewuchi at Oforola Bush when the victim and Oluchukwu Chukwuma arrived at the Avu junction along the Owerri/Port-Harcourt Road in Imo State.

Okoye stated that the culprits were apprehended after the police tracked the phone number used to make the ransom demand. The victim may have been the victim of murder, According to the police.
”The hoodlums demanded ransom of Fifteen Million Naira (#15, 000, 000. 00), and later, the sum of Two Million Naira (#2, 000, 000. 00) was paid into a bank account number 6320856966 bearing Nwakuba Kingsley Osinanna on 14/02/2023. After payment of the ransom, an additional ransom of One Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira (#1, 200, 000. 00) was equally paid on demand by the hoodlums at Oforola in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State. At the end of the payment, the victim was not released.” Okoye stated.
According to investigations, Oluchukwu tempts Ezeala to Oforola on February 3 where he and other members of his criminal gang had finalized arrangements to kidnap the victim, ASP Henry Okoye stated
