A man left his wife in the hospital after she gave birth to another girl, and a Nigerian nurse and midwife with the social media handle ‘Kaykay’ have resorted to social media to express her sorrow.

She claims that the man hasn’t seen his wife since she gave birth three days ago because he was worried about the baby’s gender.

“I can’t believe in this day and age some Nigerian men still don’t know that having all female kids isn’t the woman’s fault…that’s how this man hasn’t come to see his wife in the hospital since she gave birth 3 days ago because she had another girl,” she tweeted on Friday, March 31.
