Meet FELAMAN , a Young Nigerian Afro Fusion Artist Who is Pushing Boundaries.

With a strong foundation in the conscious music genre, he started his career in 2018, to be precise. He currently has an Album on Audiomack Titled Orijo, and a few single tracks as well.

He is currently working with a great artist on his new single. WATCH OUT

 

Makiese Dante sits down with FELAMAN and talks about his musical life.

 

In a few words, introduce yourself and what you do.

 

I am Omotayo Segun Otunuga known as FELAMAN. I hail from the Ijebu tribe and am a solid independent Yoruba boy.

What made you want to become a musician?

 

I am a messenger sort of and it is only through my music I can communicate and pass messages out. I Love making music.

 

Which instruments did you play in high school?

 

Flute

 

What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?

 

Well, I am definitely sure my train would have travelled so far that I will be among the flying stars

 

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?

 

I love reading and doing extensive research

 

What inspired you to start playing and making music?

 

It’s just a higher calling and I can’t help but make music.

 

Who’s your ideal musician to collaborate with and why?

 

Likes of wizkid, BurnaBoy, Olamide, Tems, Asake and more

How would you handle travelling and being away from your home for an extended period of time while you were on tour?

 

If my family is at peace I am at peace too. So being away from my home is not a problem

 

Have you ever participated in any music competitions? Did you win any prizes?
