Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, succeeds in breaking the Guinness World Record.
On Monday morning, renowned Nigerian chef Hilda Baci surpassed the record for “longest cooking time” by an individual.
The chef, who was born in Akwa Ibom, broke the record on Monday, May 15, at 7:45 am.
Recall that she began cooking on May 11 and wants to break the record by cooking for 96 hours.
The “Cook-a-thon” effort was endorsed by a large number of Nigerians, including politicians and celebrities.
However, Hilda received support from Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, who paid her a visit at the cooking location.

According to reports, Hilda, 27, achieved the record after surpassing Indian chef Lata Tandon, who in 2019 set a new “Guinness World Record” for continuously cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes.
