The late local council vice chairman passed away on Saturday, according to reports from the historic town of Badagry, which shocked the local political and traditional groups.
Two months after attaining office, Princess Oluremi Nutayi Ajose, the Vice Chairman of the Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State, passed away.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu inaugurated Ajose in Lagos on July 27, 2025, together with LCDA Chairman Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren and five councilors.
According to family sources, she passed away, and her remains have been placed in a mortuary.
The grief in the royal household and the society was exacerbated by the fact that Princess Ajose was the daughter of His Royal Majesty, Oba Oyekan Possi Ajose, the Alapa of Apa Egun-Awori Kingdom.
