Dbanj’s Alleged Arrest By ICPC

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) reportedly arrested Dbanj for allegedly diverting hundreds of thousands of naira from the N-power project.

The musician, who had ignored his summons for months, surrendered himself on Monday, according to reports. He was allegedly held and denied bail.

Dbanj allegedly conspired with corrupt government officials to put fake beneficiaries on the funds’ payroll, and the payments were ultimately traced to accounts affiliated with the singer.

Mallam Yankee, a close colleague of his, responded by denying his arrest.

According to Yankee, the singer was invited but not detained.

He added I’m aware, he was invited and not arrested. The person they are looking for is his business partner.
