Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced new prices for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, across different regions in Nigeria.
The refinery’s key partners, including MRS, AP (Ardova), Heyden, Optima Energy, Hyde, and Tecno Oil, will sell petrol at varying prices in different zones.
The new prices are as follows:
- Lagos: N890 per liter, down from N920
- South-West (excluding Lagos): N900 per liter, down from N930
- North-West and North-Central: N910 per liter, down from N940
- South-East, South-South, and North-East: N920 per liter, down from N950
The price reduction follows the refinery’s decision to lower its gantry price from N865 to N835. This marks the second price cut within a week. Dangote Refinery stated that it remains committed to providing high-quality petrol at affordable rates, benefiting consumers across the nation.
The refinery believes that this price reduction will have a positive ripple effect on the economy, providing relief to consumers and contributing to broader economic growth, particularly during the Easter season. Dangote Refinery has consistently worked to reduce prices of petrol and other refined petroleum products, ensuring the continued benefit of Nigerian consumers.
The refinery assured that it will maintain a steady supply of premium-quality petroleum products, with sufficient reserves to meet domestic demand and a surplus for export.
