The explosion’s effects were captured in an internet video.
Three youths can be seen dancing and singing along to a tune as they record themselves in the video. The boys immediately flee for cover as they hear a tremendous bang.
A portion of the room’s ceiling collapsed as a result of the explosion.
According to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, the explosion was brought on by unauthorized miners who kept explosives in a Bodija building.
