INEC Launches a New Hire Recruitment Portal for 2026
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has launched its 2026 recruitment campaign, seeking competent Nigerians to apply for various entry-level posts spanning grade levels 07, 08, 09, 10 and 12.
Nigerians looking for government employment now have a new chance as the electoral body starts a significant hiring process.
The application window began on Monday, July 20 and will end on Monday, July 27, according to a notification posted on the commission’s employment portal.
In order to improve the fulfilment of its constitutional obligations, INEC stated that the recruiting campaign is a component of its efforts to bolster its staff in critical areas such as electoral administration, voter registration, election logistics, and data management.
The commission encouraged prospective candidates to apply online by registering, filling out the application, and submitting the necessary credentials via its recruitment portal.
Positions that are open;
There are openings in three different categories. INEC is hiring accountants, clinical officers, lawyers, ICT officers, engineers, and quantity surveyors for the Professional Cadre on Grade Levels 09, 10, and 12.
While some professions may require a master’s degree in a related field, applicants for these positions must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
