Mohbad’s Father Denies Grandson, Demands DNA Test Amidst Paternity Dispute

The paternity dispute surrounding the late Nigerian singer Mohbad’s son, Liam, has taken a dramatic turn.

Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, has publicly denied that Liam is his grandson, sparking a heated controversy.

In an interview with Silverbird News 24, Aloba claimed that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, had denied him access to the child. He alleged that Wunmi had refused to allow him to conduct a DNA test to ascertain Liam’s paternity.

Aloba stated, “As a father, they were supposed to come to me. They know where I am living. For now, I don’t want to speak more about that because the case is in court. Let the court have a say concerning that.”

Wunmi, however, has countered Aloba’s claims, stating that he had been avoiding the DNA test. She alleged that Aloba had initially agreed to the test but later changed his mind, insisting on using a pathologist who had conducted Mohbad’s second autopsy.

The dispute has been ongoing since Mohbad’s death, with both parties seeking to establish the truth about Liam’s paternity.

The case is currently in court, with a DNA test ordered to determine the child’s biological father.
