Nigerian Law School’s Top Graduating Student Is a Unilorin Graduate.
Israel Adekunle Adeniyi won the title of Overall Best Graduating Student of the Nigerian Law School for the 2026 Call to Bar, after an outstanding academic career that began at the University of Ilorin.
After leading his class at two significant points in his career, a young Nigerian law graduate has accomplished an incredible academic milestone.
After finishing his Bar Part II coursework at the Nigerian Law School’s Lagos Campus, Adeniyi, an Offa native, was chosen as the overall top graduating student at the 2026 Call to Bar event.
He was the top graduating student in the University of Ilorin’s Common Law program, with the highest cumulative grade point average in the faculty’s history (4.83) before enrolling in the Nigerian Law School.
The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation gave him a ₦2 million cash prize in recognition of his most recent achievement.
In a statement online, the foundation revealed that Adeniyi was invited to dinner by its founder, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, in appreciation of his outstanding academic achievement.
He had previously been named the University of Ilorin’s Faculty of Law’s Best Graduating Student.
