Nigerian man Who Wanted a Male Child Allegedly Poisons his Day-old Baby Girl to Death.
The Kano State Hisbah Board detained the man on Friday. He is a resident of Doka Baici, Tofa Local Government Area.
Just Because he would prefer a boy child, the guy allegedly poisoned his day-old baby daughter to death.
The suspect told board officials that he gave the day-old baby a local insecticide, According to a statement made by the Deputy Commander General of operations, Dr. Mujahid Aminudeen.

Before allegedly committing the crime, the suspect is also accused of giving the baby’s mother, Sa’ade, a cup of tea laced with sleeping pills.
He has been turned over to the police for additional inquiry and legal action.
the statement reads ;
“The suspect confessed to the crime, saying he preferred a male child but his wife gave birth to a female, which prompted him to end the baby’s life,”
