Zimbabwean Martial Artist, Gorimbo Says His Cousins Celebrated His UFC Defeat ‘For Not Sending Them Money’

Themba Lawrence Gorimbo, a Zimbabwean professional mixed martial artist, recently made a shocking revelation about his family members celebrating his defeat in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

According to Gorimbo, his cousins rejoiced at his loss to Brazilian Vicente Luque because he didn’t send them money.

Gorimbo’s defeat was a quick one, lasting only 52 seconds. Despite this, he remains optimistic and determined to make a comeback.

In a Facebook post, he wrote, “I will dust myself up and make my comeback. Yes, I am gutted now, but I know I will be okay, God brought me this far to succeed and inspire.”

However, what hurt Gorimbo the most was the reaction of his cousins. In an interview with African Facts, he shared a painful experience where his cousins celebrated his loss, sending him a video of their celebration.

Gorimbo expressed his disappointment, stating that he tries to do better for everyone, but his efforts are not always appreciated.
