The wife of former Rivers State Head of Service, George Nwaeke, Florence Nwaeke, has expressed concern over her husband’s safety and whereabouts.
This comes after George Nwaeke granted an interview accusing Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, of planning to support Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed in the 2027 presidential election.
Florence Nwaeke revealed that she lost contact with her husband after he arrived in Abuja.
She claimed that he called her upon arrival, but she has been unable to reach him since. Mrs. Nwaeke sent her husband a message asking if he was under duress or kidnapped, but received no response.
In a video, Florence Nwaeke directly appealed to Governor Fubara for intervention, stating, “Governor, help me. My husband is in trouble.” She alleged that her husband resigned under duress and was being forced to make confessions.
The situation has raised concerns about George Nwaeke’s safety and the potential consequences of his allegations against Governor Fubara.
