Adamawa Brothers Arrested for Brutal Beheading of 10-Year-Old Boy, Blame Devil for Their Actions
A gruesome murder has shaken the community in Adamawa State, Nigeria, after two brothers, Ibrahim Abdulmalik (27) and Aliyu Abdulmalik (18), were arrested for beheading a 10-year-old Almajiri boy, Abdalla Lawali.
The victim, an Almajiri student, was reportedly decapitated, and his head was buried in the suspects’ family compound. The headless body was then stuffed into a sack and abandoned at the crime scene.
According to the Adamawa State Police Command, the incident occurred on March 7, 2025, in Angwan Sarkin-Yamma, Jada Local Government Area. The command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, confirmed the arrests and stated that the suspects have confessed to the crime.
The suspects claimed that the devil made them commit the heinous act. The police investigation is ongoing, and the case has sparked widespread outrage and concern about the safety and well-being of Almajiri children in Nigeria.
